Shrinking Stigma

'Shrinking stigma’ is an educational podcast aimed at addressing some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding the profession of psychiatry. It is developed by psychiatrists and psychiatry resident's from the University of Calgary. Our goal is to create and distribute an educational podcast geared towards the general public, rather than medical professionals. We aim to address myths and realities, controversies, current events, and general knowledge in the field. Funding has graciously been provided for the project by the Alberta Medical Association.

Produced by:
Staff Psychiatrist - Dr. Lisa Harpur
Psychiatry Residents - Dr. Jaylynn Arcand, Dr. Sheila Acharya, Dr. Jonathan Dornian
